So just this week I was reminiscing and listening to Janet Jackson. I started with the Control Album, then my favs Rhythm Nation 1814 and Janet and on to Velvet Rope, All For You and Damita Jo… you get the point! It was so great to sing and relive these albums. The Root has this great articlethat fully articulates what Ms. Jackson meant to my childhood.
The next day after my jam session I woke up to the news that it’s my cousin’s birthday… my last name is Jackson so I know that we are related some where down the line. Newsweek ranked Janet’s Top Ten songand I kinda agree. But here’s my Top Ten Janet Jackson Iconic Style Moments. Hope you love it! Oh and Happy Birthday Janet!
